Areas of science like chemistry can have a high barrier to entry, so I have written easy-to-follow articles about a wide range of topics directly from the primary literature, ranging from single molecule microscopy and nanoparticles to moth pheromones.

Academic journals often feature short snippets designed to draw readers to their most exciting articles. I write JACS Spotlights to highlight the latest research in the Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS).
